PROBLUE
PROBLUE is a multi-donor trust fund managed by the World Bank that supports ocean protection and the sustainable development of the blue economy. It aims to combat marine pollution, particularly plastic waste, promote sustainable fishing, enhance the resilience of coastal economies to climate change, and encourage environmentally responsible coastal tourism. PROBLUE also assists countries in improving the governance of marine and coastal areas to ensure the responsible and sustainable exploitation of marine resources.
